Project Brecon Beacons...
As a landscape photographer I find myself travelling all over South West Wales in the search of a that perfect photograph. Depending in my time and the weather I may find myself shooting a woodland in Carmarthenshire one day and a seascape on the coast of Pembrokeshire the next. While I'm happy with many of my photographs, they lack a theme, a story. They are just a collection of nice photographs of Wales.
Wit this in mind, it became apparent that I need to concentrate me efforts to a single area. I need to become more intimate with my subject, seeking out the hidden gems instead of just visiting the popular locations seen in books or online.
Project Brecon Beacons is a year long project that does just that. A year where I will concentrate my efforts in the Brecon Beacons. My plan is the explore the are extensively, getting to know every nook and cranny and hopefully at the end, I'll have a themed portfolio of work with a great story to tell.
My first trip out was October 6th 2019 and I'll be updating this gallery and my blog (if I ever get round to setting that up) as the project progresses.
Some of my photographs from this project will be made available as prints and please feel free to contact me should you wish to licence any of my images.
